Description

We make these 19" rack blanking panels to cover unused spaces in your rack, keeping the front looking tidy and helping guide airflow past your gear. They are built from powder coated steel in a black finish, so they sit in well with most standard 19" rack setups. The 3U size fills three rack units, and we offer the panels in four sizes so you can match whatever gaps you have left.

Blanking panels do more than smarten things up. When you leave open slots in a rack, cool air and warm air can mix and recirculate, which stops your fans doing their job properly. Fitting blanks across the empty rows helps keep that air moving in the right direction, so the equipment either side runs a little cooler. The steel build stays flat and holds its shape over time, and the powder coating resists marks and scuffs during handling.

Fitting is straightforward. The panels use the standard 19" mounting pattern, so they line up with the threaded or clip-in holes on your rack rails. We keep the design plain and unfussy, with no printing or badging on the face, which suits studio racks, comms cabinets and AV installs alike. Pick the U height you need for each gap, from single-unit blanks up to larger panels, and build up a clean, closed front across the whole rack.
