Description
We use these blanking panels to fill the empty spaces in a 19" rack, keeping the front looking neat and tidy while helping to manage airflow. They fit standard 19" rack rails, which is the common mounting width for audio, network and AV gear, so they slot straight into most setups you're likely to be working with.
Each panel is made from powder coated steel in black, giving you a hard wearing finish that holds up well to knocks and handling. Steel gives more rigidity than plastic, so the panel stays flat across the width of the rack and won't bow over time. The powder coating resists scuffs and marks, which keeps the front of your rack looking consistent from top to bottom.
This is the 2U size, meaning it covers two rack units of vertical height. The range comes in four sizes, so you can mix and match to fill whatever gaps you have between your installed equipment. Covering unused space also helps direct cooling air through your active gear rather than letting it escape through open holes, and it stops dust settling inside the rack. Mounting hardware follows the usual 19" pattern, so fitting is a quick job with the screws and cage nuts your rack already uses.
