Description

The Adastra 19SS-2U is a 2U rack support shelf built for standard 19" rack cabinets. It gives you a flat platform to hold equipment that has no rack ears or mounting brackets of its own, so amplifiers, media players and other boxes can sit safely inside your rack rather than being stacked loose.

This is the 440D model, with a shelf depth of 440mm that suits 600mm deep cabinets. If you have a shallower 450mm deep cabinet, the matching 350D model is the one to look at instead. The shelf fits the same width as any standard 19" rack, so it drops into the same rails as the rest of your kit.

The rear support brackets are adjustable or removable, which lets you set the shelf up around the depth and shape of whatever you are mounting. Take the brackets off for lighter items, or keep them fitted and adjusted for heavier gear that needs the extra backing. It is a plain, practical part that keeps a rack tidy and gives non-rack equipment a proper home.
