Description

This Adastra package brings together everything you need for a compact 100V ceiling speaker system. It pairs four 6W metal-framed ceiling speakers with a 30W UM-series mixer-amplifier that has built-in Bluetooth, a USB mp3 player and an FM tuner. It suits areas with low ceilings and minimal background noise, so it works well for background music and announcements in an office, retail outlet, workshop or café where there is access to a suspended false ceiling for easy installation.

The UM-series amplifier can be rack mounted in pairs, fixed to a wall or fitted under a worktop, so you can place it wherever suits the space. Alongside Bluetooth, USB and FM, it has a 6.3mm jack microphone input and an RCA line input for an mp3 player, smartphone or computer. An optional paging microphone (952.341UK) is available separately if you need to make regular announcements. The 5.25 inch metal-framed ceiling speakers are made for low-level background music and announcements.

The package includes 25m of black speaker cable (801.816UK, also available separately), with the amplifier, cable and speakers packed separately. To extend the speaker cable, use a terminal block and take care not to short the plus and minus together. If you need to cover a larger area, you can add more speakers using lower tappings, provided the total speaker wattage stays below 90% of the amplifier's maximum output power. The system is also offered in larger sizes with 8 or 12 speakers for bigger rooms.
