Description
The Adams is a 3 light chandelier built around a clear glass orb enclosed by a British bronze metal cage. Three E14 candle bulbs (sold separately) sit inside the glass sphere, with the metal framework dividing the orb into segments and adding decorative rosette details at the crown, centre strap and ceiling canopy. The British bronze finish is a dark, oil-rubbed tone that sits between antique brass and black, giving depth to the metalwork.
Designed for dining rooms, entrance halls and stairwells with ceiling heights of 2.4m or higher, the chandelier provides ambient light diffused through the curved glass panels. The 371mm diameter suits rooms of 12-18m², while the adjustable drop of 711mm to 2235mm allows the fitting to be set at different heights depending on ceiling height and furniture arrangement. Over a dining table, the chandelier typically hangs 750-850mm above the surface.
The metal cage is divided by horizontal and vertical straps that form a cross-hatched pattern around the glass, with each junction point marked by a cast rosette. The ceiling canopy sits flush against the ceiling and features a scalloped edge detail that echoes the decorative rosettes below. The chain is finished in matching British bronze and conceals the cable run. The glass orb is clear rather than frosted, allowing the bulb filaments to be visible when lit, which pairs well with LED filament bulbs designed to replicate early Edison-style lamps.

Frequently Asked
What bulbs does the Adams chandelier take?
The Adams takes three E14 small Edison screw bulbs up to 60W each. Bulbs are sold separately. Most buyers pair this with warm-white LED filament candle bulbs at 4-6W and 2700K to complement the British bronze finish and show through the clear glass.
What ceiling height is needed?
The minimum drop of 711mm plus the 549mm fitting height means the chandelier requires at least 1260mm clearance from ceiling to the bottom of the fixture. For typical 2.4m ceilings, this works well over a dining table or in an entrance hall. Higher ceilings can use the full 2235mm drop to lower the chandelier into the room.
Is the chain length adjustable?
Yes. The 1524mm chain is adjustable on installation by removing links to set the chandelier at the required height. This adjustment must be done during fitting and cannot be changed once installed without accessing the ceiling rose.
What is British bronze?
British bronze is a dark oil-rubbed bronze finish with brown undertones, sitting between antique brass and matt black. It has a low sheen that softens reflections and pairs well with warm-toned interiors, dark woods and period features.
