The Action Can WG-90 is a multi-purpose white calcium grease supplied in a 500ml tin. It is an NLGI grade 2 lubricant designed for general purpose use, cutting friction and wear across a wide range of moving parts. We find it a practical choice for anyone who needs one grease that copes with several jobs rather than a shelf full of specialist products.

Where WG-90 stands out is its resistance to water, acid and alkali. It has extremely low water-washout, so it stays put in wet and corrosive conditions where lighter greases would be washed away. The formula is mechanically stable with good shear resistance, and it adds anti-corrosion protection to the parts it covers. That makes it suited to marine fittings, outdoor equipment and anything exposed to damp or spray.

The effective temperature range runs from -10°C to +120°C, with good low-temperature torque so parts turn freely when cold. The tin measures 65x65x240mm and weighs around 500g, giving you a decent quantity for regular maintenance work. Apply it to bearings, hinges, chains, linkages and threaded fittings wherever ongoing lubrication and moisture protection are needed.
