Description

CD-90 is a chain and drive lubricant made for all types of chain and drive components. On application it penetrates the chain linkage, then thickens to leave a tenacious film that holds firmly in place. The extreme pressure (EP) additives help it stand up to the loads that chains and drives put through, while the cleaning action clears away grime as you apply it.

Once it has settled, CD-90 protects components against wear and corrosion, even in damp conditions. It includes anti-corrosion additives to add further protection to treated parts, and its strong anti-fling properties keep the lubricant where you put it rather than throwing off during use. The working temperature range runs from -15°C to +150°C, so it copes with cold starts and warm running alike.

Supplied in a 500ml aerosol can, the can measures 65x65x240mm and weighs around 500g. It suits motorcycle chains, industrial drive chains, sprockets and similar moving parts where you need lubrication that penetrates first and stays put afterwards. Give the chain a wipe-down before treating it, apply an even coat, and let it thicken before running the drive. For heavily soiled chains, a first pass helps loosen dirt before the protective film builds up.
