Our Acanthus Scroll Medallion 3D wall panels bring the look of classic ornamental plasterwork to a wall in white PVC. Each panel is a 50 x 50cm square filled by one symmetrical medallion. A beaded border arcs around an acanthus and fan ornament in each corner, then encloses a chamfered square frame with a hammered, pebbled ground, small leaf sprays on the diagonals and pairs of acanthus C-scrolls on each side. At the centre sits a curved-sided field of fine diagonal lattice, with four small four-petal flowers around a rosette. The scrolls, beads and frame mouldings stand in a relief 12mm deep over a low textured ground.

These panels are made for interior walls in homes, offices, hotels and shops. Laid edge to edge, the medallions repeat across the wall in a steady grid, which makes them a natural choice for a feature wall behind a bed, a sofa or a reception desk. The look changes through the day: when light falls across the panels from a window or a wall light to one side, the raised scrolls and beads throw soft shadows and the pebbled ground catches a fine texture, while light from straight ahead flattens the relief to a calm white.

Each panel is formed from a 0.8mm sheet. Fitting needs no special equipment: spread adhesive on the back of the panel and press it onto the wall, cut panels to fit at the edges, then fill the joins with filler and wipe them clean. Adhesive and filler are sold separately. Four panels cover one square metre, which makes it simple to work out how many your wall needs. PVC is waterproof, and the panels wipe clean with a damp cloth, so they are low maintenance. For a balanced finish, start from the centre of the wall so the cut panels fall evenly at both sides.
