Description

The Abbey is a 3 light chandelier with three scrolled arms in a hand-brushed silver sand finish, each holding an E14 candle bulb beneath a cream pleated fabric shade. The central column rises from a turned base and supports the three arms in a symmetrical arrangement, with chain suspension allowing drop adjustment between 663mm and 2188mm on installation.

Designed for dining rooms, bedrooms and hallways with ceiling heights between 2.4m and 3m, the Abbey provides ambient and decorative light without the visual weight of larger multi-arm chandeliers. The 483mm diameter works above round or square tables up to 1.2m across, or in circulation spaces such as entrance halls and landings where a central pendant is needed. The three shades diffuse light upward and downward, reducing glare while maintaining enough brightness for functional use.

The silver sand finish is applied by hand-brushing, which builds up subtle texture across the metal frame and creates tonal variation between the raised edges and recessed details of the scrollwork. The cream pleated shades are made from mushroom-pleated fabric with a slight sheen, which softens the light output and adds warmth to the silver tone of the metalwork. The combination suits both traditional interiors with period detailing and contemporary rooms with neutral palettes.

Each of the three arms terminates in a turned cup detail beneath the shade, mirroring the turned elements on the central column. The chain suspension includes a ceiling canopy in matching silver sand finish, and the 1524mm chain can be shortened during fitting to set the pendant at the required height above the table or floor. The E14 bulbs are sold separately, allowing a choice of warm-white LED or traditional candle filament bulbs between 25W and 40W per socket.
