Description

Light finds our A Conversation Piece Tall Oak Lounge Chair and settles into the gentle inward curve at the top of its shell, where the sides draw together like wings and cast soft shade across the upholstery below. This is a high-backed lounge chair, a tall upholstered form set on an open solid-oak frame with cross-rails that keep the base airy and grounded at once. The brown covering reads warm and steady in daylight, and by lamplight it deepens against the pale oak, giving you a chair that changes quietly as the hours pass.

The frame is solid oak, with plywood, MDF and PUR shaping the seat and the moulded back. At 106cm tall, 73cm wide and 93cm deep, it holds its own beside a floor lamp or a table lamp on a nearby side table, and its 19.5kg weight makes it easy for one of us to shift when a room needs rearranging. Assembly takes around 20 minutes, and we include an assembly video so you can follow each step.
