This sandalwood scented candle marks a 70th birthday with a round embossed silver medallion on the side of its clear vessel. At the centre the medallion reads 70th Birthday on a ribbon banner with three small stars beneath it, and around its rim runs a ring of the years told in other units: 70 years, 840 months, 3652 weeks, 25567 days and 613620 hours, with the minutes counted too. Inside sits white wax around a single wick, and a round silver lid closes neatly over the top. It stands 8.5cm tall and 7.6cm across, a tidy size for a side table or a shelf.
