Description

The Knightsbridge 45A DP cooker switch is a double-pole isolator with a red neon indicator set in a 2-gang size smoked bronze screwless faceplate. The switch isolates both live and neutral lines when turned off, allowing safe maintenance of cookers, ranges and other high-draw cooking appliances rated up to 45A (10,350W at 230V).

Designed for kitchen installation within 2 metres of the appliance being controlled, the double-pole switch provides full isolation so the appliance cannot be accidentally turned on during cleaning or servicing. The red neon indicator illuminates when the switch is in the 'on' position, providing a visible status check from across the room. The switch can control a single large cooker or multiple cooking appliances on the same circuit, provided the combined load does not exceed 45A.

The smoked bronze finish is a warm dark metallic tone that sits between gunmetal and aged brass, pairing well with industrial-style kitchens, dark cabinetry and black or charcoal worktops. The screwless faceplate clips onto a separate metal sub-frame fixed to the back box, leaving no visible fixings on the wall.
