Description

The Knightsbridge CSP4MB is a 4-light track spotlight bar in matt black pressed steel, with four independently adjustable GU10 lamp holders mounted on a 580mm linear ceiling plate. Each spotlight head rotates 350° on its mount and tilts 90° from horizontal, allowing light to be directed across a room, onto specific surfaces, or angled down for task lighting.

Designed for kitchens, home offices, workshops and retail spaces where directional light is needed without recessed ceiling fittings, the bar mounts directly to a standard ceiling rose or junction box. The 54mm-diameter spotlight heads project 125mm from the ceiling when angled forward, giving sufficient throw for a typical 2.4-2.7m ceiling height. The pressed steel construction and matt black finish pair well with industrial, contemporary and minimalist interiors.

Each of the four GU10 lamp holders accepts bulbs up to 50W (sold separately), giving flexibility to choose LED, halogen or CFL bulbs depending on the required brightness and colour temperature. Dimming capability depends on the bulb chosen — pairing with dimmable GU10 LEDs and a compatible dimmer allows brightness adjustment. The IP20 rating limits use to dry indoor locations only.

What bulbs does it take?

The bar takes four GU10 bulbs up to 50W each, sold separately. Most users fit dimmable GU10 LEDs between 4-7W for general room lighting, or higher-output 10-12W LEDs for task lighting over worktops.

Can the spotlight heads be adjusted after installation?

Yes. Each head rotates 350° on its mount and tilts 90° from horizontal, allowing light direction to be changed at any time without tools. The adjustment holds position once set.

Is it dimmable?

Dimming depends on the bulbs fitted. Pairing the bar with dimmable GU10 LEDs and a compatible GU10 dimmer allows brightness control. Non-dimmable bulbs will not dim regardless of dimmer presence.

What ceiling fixing is needed?

The bar mounts to a standard UK ceiling rose or junction box. The linear ceiling plate covers a single ceiling outlet and the wiring connects inside the plate before the cover is fixed.
