The Knightsbridge 4-gang modular faceplate is a matt black screwless cover plate designed to accept euro module inserts for custom AV, data and telecoms installations. The plate accommodates four 25 x 50mm modules, two 50 x 50mm modules, or a combination of both sizes, allowing installers to build bespoke configurations for HDMI sockets, USB ports, data jacks, TV aerial connections and telephone line terminations behind a single unified faceplate.

Designed for home cinema installations, office workstations, hotel rooms and AV rack connections where multiple signal types converge at a single wall point, the faceplate fits standard UK back boxes and uses a screwless cover plate that clips onto a separate metal sub-frame. The 87.5 x 147.5mm footprint matches the standard 4-gang switch plate format, giving a consistent visual finish when installed alongside switched sockets or dimmer modules in the same room. The matt black finish provides a modern accent that pairs with contemporary AV equipment and reduces glare under direct lighting.

The faceplate is constructed from premium-grade steel with a built-in gasket behind the cover plate to prevent dust ingress around the module apertures. What euro modules does it accept?

The faceplate accepts four 25 x 50mm euro modules, two 50 x 50mm euro modules, or a combination of both. Compatible modules include HDMI sockets, USB ports (A and C), CAT5e/CAT6 data jacks, TV aerial coax connectors, satellite F-connectors and telephone line jacks. Euro modules are sold separately.

What back box depth is required?

The faceplate itself requires minimal depth (4.3mm projection from wall), but the back box depth depends on which euro modules you install. HDMI and USB modules typically need 35mm minimum, while data jacks may need 25mm. Check the depth requirement of the specific modules you plan to use.

Is the screwless plate removable?

Yes. The matt black cover plate clips onto a separate metal sub-frame that fixes to the back box. The cover can be removed for redecorating, module changes or cable adjustments and re-clipped without disturbing the back box wiring.
