Description

The Knightsbridge 4-gang modular faceplate provides a black nickel screwless mount for euro module inserts, allowing custom configurations of HDMI, USB, RJ45 data, coaxial TV, telephone and audio connections behind a single wall plate. The faceplate accepts four 25 x 50mm euro modules, two 50 x 50mm modules, or a combination of both sizes depending on the specific inserts required.

Designed for AV installations in living rooms, home offices, boardrooms and hospitality environments where multiple connection types need to be grouped at a single wall location, the faceplate eliminates the need for separate wall plates for each connection type. The screwless cover clips onto a separate metal sub-frame, hiding all fixings once installed and giving a cleaner finish than traditional screw-fixed plates. The built-in gasket between the cover and sub-frame reduces dust ingress.

The black nickel finish is a dark gunmetal tone with a low-sheen surface that sits between matt black and polished chrome in reflectivity. The premium-grade steel construction at 4.3mm projection keeps the plate slim against the wall. The IP20 rating suits dry indoor locations, and the earth terminal accommodates screened euro modules where earthing is required. Minimum back box depth varies depending on the euro modules fitted — deeper modules such as HDMI and USB charging require 35mm minimum depth.

What back box depth is required?

Minimum back box depth depends on the euro modules being fitted. Shallow inserts such as blanking plates and some data modules fit 25mm boxes, while deeper modules like HDMI, USB charging and some audio inserts require 35mm minimum depth.

Is the screwless plate removable?

Yes. The black nickel cover clips onto a separate metal sub-frame that is screw-fixed to the back box. The cover can be removed for redecorating or reconfiguring the euro modules and re-clipped without disturbing the wiring.
