Description

The Knightsbridge G9LED19 is a 3W G9 LED capsule bulb delivering 355 lumens of 4000K cool white light, designed as a direct replacement for 28W G9 halogen bulbs in ceiling downlights, wall lights and decorative fittings. The G9 bi-pin base fits standard G9 lampholders without adaptors, and the 16mm diameter and 50mm height match the envelope size of most halogen G9 capsules.

The 4000K colour temperature produces a neutral, cool white light suited to kitchens, bathrooms, utility rooms and task lighting where clarity is needed over warmth. The 270-degree beam angle provides wide light distribution comparable to halogen, making this bulb suitable for open shades, decorative chandeliers and cluster fittings where the bulb is visible. The clear polycarbonate and ceramic construction gives the bulb a similar appearance to traditional halogen capsules when unlit.

Running at 3W on 230V mains, this LED capsule reduces energy consumption by approximately 89% compared to the 28W halogen it replaces, while the 25,000-hour L70B50 rating means the bulb should maintain 70% of its initial brightness after 25,000 hours of use. The CRI of >80 renders colours accurately enough for most residential applications. The bulb is non-dimmable and carries IP20 for dry indoor use only.
