Description

This 320W LED driver converts 100-240V AC mains power to a stable 48V DC output for magnetic track lighting systems. The driver sits within a compact 215mm x 115mm x 30mm metal enclosure with ventilation slots and screw terminals on the output side, designed for installation in ceiling voids, service cupboards or directly within track-mounting frameworks.

Designed for commercial retail environments, gallery installations and larger residential projects where multiple track-mounted spotlights or linear magnetic track sections need a centralised power source. The 320W capacity typically supports 25-30 track-mounted LED spotlights at 10-12W each, or 4-6 metres of continuous magnetic LED track depending on the wattage per metre of the specific track product. The driver includes overcurrent, overvoltage and short-circuit protection, shutting down output if a fault is detected on the track circuit.

The unit accepts universal 100-240V AC input, making it compatible with both UK 230V mains and international voltages where Niori ships. The compact footprint allows it to be mounted horizontally or vertically using the four corner screw points on the base plate. A cooling fan on the top face keeps internal temperatures within the safe operating range under continuous load, producing low-level fan noise during operation that is typically inaudible once installed in a ceiling void.

The output terminals accept wire gauges up to 2.5mm² for the positive and negative DC connections, and the input side provides earth, live and neutral screw terminals. Installation must be carried out by a qualified electrician in accordance with BS 7671 wiring regulations. The driver is not dimmable unless paired with a separate 0-10V or DALI dimming module between the driver and the track circuit.
