Description
The Knightsbridge SL30CCTW is a 30W triple head security floodlight with an integrated PIR motion sensor, adjustable colour temperature switching (3000K/4000K/5500K), and a manual override function. Three independently adjustable LED heads rotate 350° and tilt 270°, allowing wide-area coverage or focused directional lighting across driveways, garage entrances, side passages and rear yards.
Designed for outdoor security applications, the floodlight mounts to external walls using a fixed bracket and connects to 230V mains supply. The PIR sensor detects movement within its detection zone and automatically switches the LEDs on, with adjustable lux and sensitivity controls allowing you to set when the sensor responds (e.g. dusk onwards) and how far it detects motion. The manual override forces the floodlight to stay on continuously regardless of motion, useful for extended outdoor tasks or events.
The polycarbonate housing carries an IP65 rating, making it dust-tight and protected against water jets from any direction, so it withstands rain, snow and pressure-washing without internal damage. The integrated SMD LEDs deliver 2960 lumens at 105lm/W efficacy, with a 75° beam angle from each head providing broad, overlapping illumination. The switchable CCT allows the light colour to be changed from warm white (3000K) through neutral white (4000K) to cool daylight (5500K) via a built-in selector switch, adapting the light quality to personal preference or to match other outdoor lighting.
The white polycarbonate finish pairs with most residential exteriors, and the opal diffusers soften the LED output to reduce glare while maintaining high lumen output. The unit weighs approximately 1kg when mounted and the 222mm width allows it to fit into standard eaves soffits and wall-mounted positions without protruding excessively.

Frequently Asked
How is the CCT changed?
A small built-in switch on the PIR sensor housing allows you to select between 3000K warm white, 4000K neutral white, and 5500K cool daylight. The switch is accessible without removing the unit from the wall.
What does the manual override do?
The manual override forces the floodlight to remain on continuously, bypassing the PIR sensor. This is useful for extended outdoor tasks (e.g. garden work, car maintenance) or social gatherings where constant lighting is needed rather than motion-triggered lighting.
Can the PIR sensitivity be adjusted?
Yes. The unit has adjustable lux and sensitivity controls, allowing you to set the ambient light level at which the sensor becomes active (e.g. dusk onwards) and how sensitive the motion detection is (distance and motion threshold).
Is the floodlight suitable for coastal or high-exposure locations?
The IP65 rating protects against water jets and dust ingress, making it suitable for most UK outdoor environments including coastal areas. However, polycarbonate housings may discolour over time in high-UV or salt-spray environments — consider annual inspection and cleaning in particularly harsh conditions.
