Description

The Maytoni Trinity right corner connector joins two lengths of 3-phase surface-mounted track at a 90-degree angle, maintaining electrical continuity across all three phases through the turn. The connector sits 3.2cm proud of the ceiling or wall surface and measures 9.9cm square at the junction, matching the footprint of standard Trinity track profiles.

Designed for commercial retail, gallery and residential applications where track lighting needs to follow corners or change direction, the connector allows spotlights and pendants to be positioned continuously through the turn without breaking the circuit. The white plastic construction matches Trinity track finishes and accepts standard Trinity track end caps and feed-in points.

The IP20 rating limits the connector to dry indoor use only. Installation requires the track to be cut square at each approach to the corner, with the connector slotting over both cut ends and locking the phases in alignment. The 220-240V AC rating handles standard UK mains voltage with no step-down required.

What's the difference between a right and left corner connector?

The direction refers to the orientation when looking at the track from below. A right corner turns 90 degrees to the right, a left corner to the left. If your track run needs to turn the opposite way, you'll need the left corner version of this connector.

Does this work with single-phase track?

No. This connector is designed specifically for 3-phase track systems where three separate circuits run through the track. It will not fit or function correctly with single-phase or 2-phase track profiles.

Can spotlights be mounted directly onto the connector?

No. The connector joins two track sections but does not provide mounting points for spotlights. Fittings mount onto the straight track sections that connect to either side of the corner.

Is it suitable for outdoor use?

No. The IP20 rating means the connector is not protected against moisture ingress and must only be used in dry indoor environments.
