Description

The Knightsbridge LFC24RGBW is a 24V RGBW LED strip light supplied on a 30m reel, featuring 36 x 5050 SMD LEDs per metre that produce both RGB colour-changing light and a separate daylight white channel at 6000K. The strip runs at 9W per metre and requires a 24V constant voltage driver and a separate RGBW controller (both sold separately) to operate the colour-changing modes and white channel independently.

Designed for internal architectural lighting, the strip suits under-cabinet installations, cove lighting, display shelving, back-of-TV accent lighting, and feature walls where both colour effects and functional white task light are needed from the same fitting. The 12mm width and 1.8mm thickness allow the strip to fit into narrow recesses and extrusions. Each 30m reel can be cut every 166mm at marked intervals, allowing the strip to be trimmed to exact lengths on site. Maximum continuous run per driver is 10m — longer installations require additional power injection points.

The strip carries an IP20 rating, restricting it to dry internal locations away from moisture and splash zones. A 3M self-adhesive backing is pre-applied to the rear of the strip for direct mounting to clean, dry surfaces, though aluminium extrusions are recommended for heat dissipation and professional finishes. The CRI of >85 ensures decent colour rendering when the white channel is used for task lighting, and the 120° beam angle provides broad wash coverage from each LED. The strip is rated to L70B50 at 36,000 hours, meaning 70% of the initial lumen output remains after 36,000 hours of operation when run at rated conditions.

This strip requires a 24V DC constant voltage driver sized to match the total wattage of the installation (9W per metre) plus 20% headroom, and a separate RGBW controller to operate the colour-changing modes and white channel. Both are sold separately. Knightsbridge and compatible third-party drivers and controllers are available at Niori.

Can the strip be cut to length?

Yes. The strip can be cut every 166mm at marked cut points along the reel. Cutting between these points will damage the circuit and void the warranty. Niori also offers a Flex Cut service for pre-cut lengths.

What is the maximum run length?

10m is the maximum continuous run from a single power feed. Installations longer than 10m require additional power injection at intermediate points to prevent voltage drop and colour shift along the strip.

Can it be used in bathrooms or outdoors?

No. The IP20 rating restricts this strip to dry internal locations only. For bathrooms or outdoor use, choose an IP65 or IP67 rated strip from the Knightsbridge range.
