Description
The Knightsbridge 24V LED strip light delivers 525 lumens per metre at 4000K cool white from 60 x 2835 SMD LEDs per metre, drawing 4.8W per metre on a 24V DC constant voltage supply. The strip is supplied on a 50m reel, 8mm wide and 1.2mm thick, with 3M self-adhesive tape on the reverse for fixing to clean, dry surfaces.
Designed for internal applications including under-cabinet lighting, cove lighting, alcove illumination and display case lighting, the strip is IP20 rated for dry indoor environments only. The maximum continuous run length is 20m before voltage drop becomes noticeable, meaning runs longer than 20m require a second power injection point or a second driver. The strip can be cut to length every 100mm at marked cut points, allowing custom lengths to be created on site or via Niori's Flex Cut service when ordering.
The 24V operating voltage reduces current compared to 12V systems, meaning thinner cable runs are viable over longer distances and less heat is generated per metre of strip. The strip is dimmable when paired with a compatible 24V dimmable LED driver and dimmer control. The 4000K colour temperature sits between warm white and daylight, providing neutral illumination that works in kitchens, offices, retail display and contemporary residential spaces. CRI >80 ensures reasonable colour rendering for most applications.

Frequently Asked
What driver does this strip require?
The strip requires a 24V DC constant voltage LED driver. Total driver wattage must exceed the total length being powered multiplied by 4.8W per metre. For example, a 10m run requires a driver rated for at least 48W, though a 60W driver would provide headroom. The driver must be compatible with the strip's Class III rating.
Can the strip be cut to custom lengths?
Yes. The strip has marked cut points every 100mm along its length. Cuts must be made at these points to avoid damaging LED circuits. Niori offers a Flex Cut service at checkout to supply pre-cut lengths if preferred.
Is this strip dimmable?
Yes, when paired with a dimmable 24V LED driver and appropriate dimmer control. The strip itself is passively dimmable — dimming functionality depends entirely on the driver and control gear used.
What's the maximum run length before needing a second power connection?
The maximum continuous run is 20m. Beyond 20m, voltage drop causes reduced brightness at the far end of the strip. Runs longer than 20m require a second power injection point or a separate driver feeding the additional length.
