Description

The Knightsbridge LFC24WW is a 24V DC LED strip light supplied on a 50m reel, delivering 3000K warm white light at 500 lumens per metre from 60 surface-mounted 2835 SMD LEDs per metre. The strip measures 8mm wide by 1.2mm thick, runs at 4.8W per metre, and can be cut to custom lengths every 100mm along marked cutting points.

Designed for under-cabinet lighting, cove lighting, retail display, architectural accent work and residential feature lighting where continuous runs are needed, the strip accepts installation in lengths up to 20m per continuous run before requiring a new power feed from the driver. The 24V DC operation reduces voltage drop over longer runs compared to 12V equivalents, making it better suited to installations where cable runs exceed 5m between driver and strip start point. The strip carries IP20 rating for dry internal environments only.

Each metre draws 4.8W at 24V DC and requires a constant voltage LED driver sized to match the total connected strip length — for example, a 10m run draws 48W and requires a 24V driver rated at 50W minimum with headroom. The strip is dimmable when paired with a dimmable 24V driver and compatible dimming control, typically 0-10V or phase-cut depending on driver type. The rear carries 3M self-adhesive tape for mounting to clean, dry surfaces including aluminium extrusion profiles, painted MDF, and plasterboard.

The 3000K colour temperature produces warm white light comparable to traditional halogen, with a CRI above 80 for reasonable colour rendering in residential and hospitality settings. The 120-degree beam angle from the surface-mount LEDs provides wide light distribution suitable for indirect wash lighting rather than focused accent work. What driver do I need for this LED strip?

The strip requires a 24V DC constant voltage LED driver. Size the driver by multiplying your total strip length in metres by 4.8W — for example, 10m requires a 48W driver, so specify a 50W or 60W unit to allow headroom. Knightsbridge and other manufacturers supply compatible 24V drivers in various wattages.

Can I cut the strip to a specific length?

Yes. The strip can be cut every 100mm along marked cutting points. Niori offers a Flex Cut service for custom lengths — add the product to your basket and specify the required length at checkout, or contact us before ordering.

Is it dimmable?

The strip itself is dimmable, but dimming depends on pairing it with a dimmable 24V driver and compatible dimming control. Specify a dimmable driver when ordering the power supply, and check whether it requires 0-10V, phase-cut or other dimming protocol.

What is the maximum continuous run length?

The maximum continuous run is 20m before requiring a new power feed from the driver. Longer installations need the driver output split to feed multiple sections in parallel rather than daisy-chaining beyond 20m, which would cause visible brightness drop at the far end.
