Description

The Knightsbridge LFC24HLWW is a 24V constant-voltage LED strip light supplied on a 30m reel, with 128 x 2835 SMD LEDs per metre delivering 1260lm at 3000K warm white. The strip runs at 9.6W per metre, giving 288W total power draw across the full 30m length when paired with an appropriately sized 24V driver. Each strip is 8mm wide and 1.2mm thick, with a cuttable section every 62.5mm for precise length adjustment on-site.

Designed for internal architectural and under-cabinet lighting where high lumen output is required from a discreet strip profile, the LFC24HLWW suits kitchen worktop lighting, cove lighting in commercial interiors, wardrobe lighting and cabinet display illumination. The maximum run length from a single driver output is 10m — longer installations require the 30m reel to be cut into multiple runs, each powered from separate driver outputs or from a distribution amplifier. The strip carries an IP20 rating and is not suitable for bathrooms, wet areas or external use.

The 24V DC architecture reduces current draw compared to 12V strips of equivalent output, allowing longer single runs and thinner wiring between driver and strip. The strip is supplied with 3M VHB self-adhesive tape on the back for direct fixing to clean, dry aluminium extrusions or other mounting surfaces. Dimming is possible when paired with a dimmable 24V driver and compatible PWM or 0-10V control gear. The CRI >80 rating gives acceptable colour rendering for most residential and hospitality applications where critical colour matching is not required.

What driver is required?

The strip requires a 24V DC constant-voltage driver. For the full 30m reel running continuously, a driver rated at 288W or higher is needed (30m x 9.6W/m). In practice, most installations cut the reel into shorter runs of up to 10m, each powered from separate driver outputs — a 10m run needs a 96W minimum driver.

Can it be cut to length?

Yes. The strip has cut marks every 62.5mm along its length. Cutting at these marks ensures the circuit remains complete and the strip can be powered from either end. Cuts made between marks will leave non-functional LEDs on the offcut section.

Is it dimmable?

Dimming depends on the driver and control gear. Pair the strip with a dimmable 24V driver and a compatible PWM or 0-10V controller to achieve smooth dimming. Standard non-dimmable drivers will run the strip at full output only.

What is the maximum single run length?

The maximum continuous run from a single power feed point is 10m. Runs longer than 10m experience voltage drop towards the far end, causing uneven brightness. For installations requiring more than 10m of strip, cut the reel into multiple 10m (or shorter) sections and power each section from separate driver outputs.
