Description
The Knightsbridge SL20CCTB is a 20W twin-head LED security floodlight with an integrated PIR motion sensor and selectable colour temperature. The two adjustable lamp heads deliver a combined 1810 lumens through high-quality SMD2835 LEDs, with colour temperature switched via a recessed control between 3000K warm white, 4000K neutral white, and 5500K cool daylight.
Designed for outdoor security and perimeter lighting around driveways, gardens, commercial premises and industrial yards, the PIR sensor detects movement up to 8 metres away across a 90° detection arc. Adjustable dials control sensitivity, time delay (how long the light stays on after detecting motion), and lux threshold (whether the sensor activates in daylight or only at dusk). A manual override forces the floodlight into an always-on state for occasions where constant light is needed.
The polycarbonate housing carries an IP65 rating for rain, dust and hose-down resistance, allowing permanent outdoor installation without additional weatherproofing. Each lamp head rotates 180° and tilts through 270°, while the mounting bracket rotates 360°, giving extensive adjustment to direct light exactly where needed. The black finish suits contemporary, industrial and security-focused installations where visible fixtures need to blend into walls, eaves or fascias.
The wide 100-277V operating voltage accommodates both standard UK mains and alternative supply systems. The fitting is rated Class II (double-insulated), eliminating the need for an earth connection. Knightsbridge backs the floodlight with a 5-year warranty covering LED failure and housing defects.

Frequently Asked
How is the colour temperature changed?
A recessed switch on the back of the PIR sensor unit selects between 3000K warm white, 4000K neutral white, and 5500K cool daylight. The switch is accessible after installation but requires a small tool to adjust, preventing accidental changes.
What is the PIR detection range?
The sensor detects movement up to 8 metres away across a 90° arc. Three adjustment dials control sensitivity (how much movement is needed to trigger), time delay (how long the light stays on, typically 5 seconds to 10 minutes), and lux threshold (whether the sensor works in daylight or activates only when ambient light drops below a set level).
Can the floodlight be left on permanently?
Yes. The manual override setting forces the floodlight into an always-on state, bypassing the PIR sensor. This is useful for events, security situations where constant light is needed, or when the sensor needs to be disabled temporarily.
What wiring is required?
The floodlight is Class II (double-insulated), so it requires only live and neutral connections — no earth. It operates on 100-277V AC, covering standard UK mains (230V) and alternative supply voltages used in some commercial and industrial settings.
