200W IP66 IK08 LED Floodlight 4000K - Black Die-Cast Aluminium

The Knightsbridge FLHL200 is a 200W LED floodlight delivering 30,950 lumens at 4000K cool white, housed in a die-cast aluminium body rated IP66 for dust and water ingress protection and IK08 for impact resistance. The fitting achieves 151.6lm/W efficacy using an SMD LED array paired with a separated driver design that extends the LED lifetime to an L70B10 rating of 110,000 hours.

Designed for demanding outdoor environments including swimming pools, water treatment plants, car parks, sports fields and industrial yards, the floodlight uses chlorine-resistant materials and construction to maintain performance in corrosive atmospheres where standard outdoor fittings deteriorate. The 115° beam angle provides wide area coverage from a single mounting point, and optional accessories including symmetric and asymmetric lenses (sold separately) allow the beam to be shaped for specific applications such as perimeter lighting or vertical surface illumination.

The die-cast aluminium housing measures 341mm wide by 305mm high by 71mm deep and finishes in black powder coat. The integral bracket allows the floodlight to tilt on a horizontal axis, and the 1.5m cable with IP66-rated gland provides wiring flexibility on installation. The asymmetric 55x125° lens accessory (sold separately) pushes light forward and downward when the fitting is mounted near-horizontal, reducing light spill into neighbouring properties and sky glow while concentrating output onto car park surfaces or sports pitches.

What does IP66 and IK08 mean?

IP66 means the floodlight is dust-tight and protected against powerful water jets from any direction, so it can be used in exposed outdoor locations including near water features or in heavy rain. IK08 means it can withstand impact energy of 5 joules, equivalent to a 1.7kg mass dropped from 300mm, giving protection against accidental knocks and vandalism.

Is it suitable for chlorine environments like swimming pools?

Yes. The die-cast aluminium housing and internal components are specified to resist chlorine corrosion, making the FLHL200 suitable for outdoor pool areas, water treatment plants and other environments where chlorine vapour would degrade standard outdoor fittings.

What mounting options are available?

The floodlight includes an integral tilting bracket. Optional accessories sold separately include pole top brackets and pole clamp brackets for mounting on vertical posts, plus symmetric and asymmetric lenses to modify the beam distribution.

What is the L70B10 rating?

L70B10 of 110,000 hours means that after 110,000 hours of operation, at least 90% of the LED modules will still output 70% or more of their initial lumens. This equates to approximately 12.5 years of continuous use before significant lumen depreciation occurs.
