This E27 globe bulb adds a soft wash of colour, with green-to-pink ombre glass over a 2.8W LED. An etched acrylic sleeve inside the glass diffuses the light and cuts glare, so the colour reads gently rather than harshly. It gives 100 lumens of warm white light at 1800K, a soft, low light that is more for mood than for reading by. At 1800K the light is deep and warm, more amber than white, for a candle-like feel.

A tinted bulb like this is meant to be on show, so it works best in open pendants, bare-flex drops and clear-glass fittings. The low, warm output adds a pop of colour and a cosy glow to living rooms, bedrooms and bar corners rather than lighting a whole room.
