Description

The Knightsbridge 13A fused spur unit provides a switched connection point for fixed appliances such as water heaters, ovens, and extractor fans, rated at 13A and certified to BS 1363-4. The matt white screwless faceplate is made from premium grade steel with a low-profile design that projects just 4.3mm from the wall once installed, and the matching fuse holder maintains a consistent finish across the front of the unit.

Designed for residential and light commercial installation, the fused spur fits a standard 25mm minimum back box depth and uses a screwless cover plate that clips onto a separate metal sub-frame. This means there are no visible fixings on the wall once fitted, giving a cleaner finish than traditional screw-fixed plates. The built-in gasket between the plate and the wall surface improves the seal and reduces dust ingress behind the faceplate.

The matt white finish provides a soft, non-reflective surface that pairs well with modern white or light-toned interiors without the gloss sheen of standard white plastic accessories. The unit carries an IP20 rating for dry indoor use and includes an earth terminal for Class I appliance wiring. The fuse holder accepts a standard 13A BS 1362 fuse cartridge, allowing the fuse to be replaced without removing the entire faceplate from the wall.
