A 35mm minimum back box depth is needed for safe installation. The screwless cover plate adds 4.3mm of projection from the wall once fitted, making this one of the lower-profile sockets in the Knightsbridge range.

What's the USB charging output?

The two USB-A ports provide a combined 2.4A output at 5V DC, shared between both ports. If you charge two devices simultaneously, the available current is split between them. For faster charging of a single device, use only one USB port.

Is the screwless plate removable for redecorating?

Yes. The anthracite cover plate clips onto a separate metal sub-frame fixed to the back box. The cover can be removed for painting around the socket and re-clipped without re-wiring.
