The Knightsbridge 13A 1-gang unswitched socket pairs a brushed chrome screwless faceplate with a white insert behind the outlet aperture. The unswitched design provides a permanent power outlet for appliances that stay plugged in continuously, such as fridges, freezers, microwaves and media equipment where switching on and off at the socket is not needed.

Designed for residential, office and hospitality installation, the socket fits a standard 25mm minimum back box depth and uses a screwless cover plate that clips onto a separate metal sub-frame. This means no visible screws or fixings on the wall once installed, giving a cleaner finish than traditional screw-fixed plates. The 13A rating handles standard UK appliance loads up to 3,120W per outlet.

The brushed chrome finish is a directionally-brushed metal surface that softens reflections and pairs well with contemporary and minimalist interiors. The white insert behind the chrome faceplate hides the back of the cover plate and gives a clean edge to the outlet aperture. The socket has a 4.3mm projection from the wall once fitted, keeping it low-profile. Certified to BS 1363-2 and IP20-rated for indoor use, the socket carries a 25-year manufacturer warranty.
