Description

The Knightsbridge 13A 1-gang switched socket integrates four USB charging ports behind a brushed chrome flat plate with a grey insert. The socket delivers 13A to the mains outlet and 5.1A total across the USB ports, with one dedicated 2.1A port for tablets and the remaining three sharing 3.0A for phones and smaller devices.

Designed for kitchens, home offices, hotel rooms and commercial spaces where multiple devices need charging alongside mains appliances, the socket fits a standard 25-35mm back box depth. The flat plate design uses matching metal rockers and has a built-in gasket that sits flush to the wall, giving a cleaner finish than traditional plastic faceplates with visible air gaps.

The brushed chrome finish is applied to 201 stainless steel, giving a directional grain that softens reflections and resists fingerprints better than polished chrome. The grey insert behind the plate provides a neutral backdrop to the outlet apertures and USB ports. The socket is EMC certified, ErP Ready and BS1363-2 compliant, with a 7.7mm projection from the wall once fitted.
