Description

The Knightsbridge 10AX 1-gang DP switch provides double pole switching behind a matt white screwless faceplate made from premium-grade steel. The double pole configuration isolates both live and neutral lines when switched off, making it suitable for circuits where complete isolation is required, such as bathroom extractor fans paired with lighting circuits.

Designed for residential and light commercial installation, the switch requires a minimum 16mm mounting box depth and uses a screwless cover plate that clips onto a metal sub-frame, leaving no visible fixings on the wall once fitted. The 10AX rating handles loads up to 2,300W on 230V circuits, covering most domestic lighting and small appliance switching applications. The built-in gasket between faceplate and sub-frame reduces dust ingress and provides a tighter fit against the wall.

The matt white finish provides a low-sheen surface that resists fingerprints and pairs with white walls and skirting without creating a reflective contrast. The matching white metal rocker sits flush with the faceplate when in the off position, maintaining the clean lines of the screwless design. At 87.5mm square with a 4.3mm projection from the wall, the switch sits nearly flat against the mounting surface. Certified to EN 60669-1 standards and carrying a 25-year warranty.
