This is a single coaxial connection point for an aerial lead, set behind a flat screwless plate in cool grey. The plate measures 88mm square and sits close to the wall, with no screw heads on show to interrupt the face. The moulding is an even grey with a low sheen rather than a gloss, and the edges are kept square and plain. The connector serves a low voltage aerial circuit, so it carries signal rather than mains power. We like it in rooms where a bright white plate would look stark against grey or muted decoration.

Living rooms are the obvious home for it: a tidy television point behind the screen for the aerial feed, rather than a lead trailing across the floor from somewhere less convenient. It suits bedrooms, studies and guest rooms too, where a set may be used only now and then but the connection still wants to be in place. It is meant for indoor rooms only, and for aerial and data circuits rather than anything carrying power.
