Description

This is a satellite connection point in bright teal, its front plate free of visible screws so the face reads as one clean square. The F-type connector accepts the threaded coaxial lead from a dish feed and terminates it tidily at the wall, ready for a short patch lead through to the receiver. The plate measures 88mm across, compact enough to sit quietly next to a television point or a data socket without crowding the wall behind a screen.

We would put this in a sitting room, snug or bedroom where the receiver lives under the television, and it does the same job in a home office set up for a second screen. It is meant for indoor rooms and for low voltage signal work only, which is the whole of its remit: the dish feed arrives, the lead goes on, nothing more is asked of it. It suits anyone who has grown tired of white plastic interrupting a painted wall, and the teal is strong enough to look like a decision rather than an accident.

The plate and body are moulded polycarbonate, a hard plastic that holds its colour and shrugs off the occasional knock from a vacuum cleaner. It carries a ten year warranty.
