Description

The Knightsbridge 1-gang modular faceplate provides a single aperture for euro module inserts, allowing custom configurations of TV, data, USB, HDMI, telecom or audio connections behind a polished brass screwless cover plate. The plate is constructed from 201 stainless steel with a polished brass finish and measures 87.5mm square with 4.3mm projection from the wall once fitted.

Designed for media walls, home office setups, and AV installations where standard socket faceplates do not accommodate the required connections, the modular faceplate accepts any standard euro module insert (sold separately). This allows a bespoke combination of HDMI, coax, Ethernet, USB-A, USB-C, 3.5mm audio, or telephone modules to be installed in a single gang position. The screwless cover plate clips onto a separate metal sub-frame fixed to a standard 25mm back box, hiding all fixings once installed.

The polished brass finish delivers a warm metallic accent that pairs with both traditional and warm-toned contemporary interiors. The built-in gasket between the cover plate and sub-frame prevents dust ingress and ensures a tight fit against the wall surface. The IP20 rating suits standard dry indoor environments, and the Class I earthing terminal provides continuity for metal-bodied euro modules where required. The faceplate accepts any standard euro module insert including HDMI, coax, RJ45 Ethernet, USB-A, USB-C, 3.5mm audio jack, XLR, telephone, and blank modules. Modules are sold separately and clip into the aperture from the front once the sub-frame is fixed to the back box.

What back box depth is required?

A standard 25mm minimum back box depth is needed. The faceplate itself projects 4.3mm from the wall once the screwless cover is clipped onto the sub-frame.

Is the screwless plate removable?

Yes. The polished brass cover plate clips onto a separate metal sub-frame. The cover can be removed to change euro modules or for redecorating, then re-clipped without disturbing the back box or wiring.
