Description
The Knightsbridge 1-gang modular faceplate is a screwless anthracite metal plate designed to accept euro module inserts for bespoke AV, data and media installations. The single-gang aperture accommodates one or two euro modules (25mm x 50mm each) depending on configuration, allowing you to build custom socket combinations for HDMI, USB, Cat6, coaxial TV, audio or telephone connections.
Designed for media walls, office workstations and smart home installations where standard sockets do not provide the required connectivity, the faceplate clips onto a separate metal sub-frame fixed to a 25mm minimum back box. The screwless cover plate removes and re-clips without disturbing the wiring behind, making it straightforward to change module configurations or redecorate around the plate.
The plate is constructed from SPCC steel with an anthracite powder-coated finish that provides a dark grey tone sitting between matt black and graphite. The built-in gasket seals the plate against the wall surface, preventing light bleed from the back box and giving a tighter fit than non-gasketed plates. At 87.5mm square with a 4.3mm projection from the wall once fitted, the faceplate sits flush with typical plaster depths and maintains a low-profile finish.

Frequently Asked
What euro modules does it accept?
The 1-gang aperture accepts either one single-width euro module (50mm x 25mm) or two stacked modules. Common euro modules include HDMI, USB-A, USB-C, Cat6 RJ45, coaxial TV, 3.5mm audio, and telephone sockets. Euro modules are sold separately.
What back box depth is required?
A 25mm minimum back box depth is needed. The faceplate projects 4.3mm from the wall once the screwless cover is clipped onto the sub-frame.
Is the screwless plate removable?
Yes. The anthracite cover plate clips onto a separate metal sub-frame that mounts to the back box. The cover can be removed to change euro module inserts or to paint around the socket, then re-clipped without re-wiring.
What other finishes are available in this range?
Knightsbridge produces modular faceplates in polished chrome, brushed chrome, matt black, white and several other finishes. Use the search function or filters at Niori to find other variants in stock.
