This Knightsbridge 1-gang dimmer plate provides an 87.5mm square brushed chrome screwless faceplate with a matching metal dimmer cap, designed to accept either centre-mounted or offset dimmer modules (sold separately). The plate itself is unpopulated, meaning it ships without the dimmer mechanism fitted, allowing you to pair it with the specific dimmer module rated for your lighting load.

Designed for residential and commercial interiors where dimming control is needed without visible fixings, the screwless construction uses a cover plate that clips onto a separate metal sub-frame fixed to the back box. This gives a clean finish with no screw heads visible on the wall once installed. The built-in gasket between the plate and the wall surface creates a tight seal that prevents light bleed around the edges and keeps dust out of the module cavity.

The brushed chrome finish is a directional linear grain applied to premium-grade steel, giving a cooler-toned metallic surface that pairs well with contemporary, industrial and minimalist interiors. The plate projects just 4.3mm from the wall surface once fitted, making it suitable for installations where shallow projection is needed. The matching metal dimmer cap sits flush with the faceplate and rotates to control the dimmer module once fitted.
