Description

The Zoom is an 85mm square recessed downlight with a GU10 bulb fitting, housed in a black cast aluminium body rated IP65 against dust and water ingress. The square aperture measures 85 x 85mm with a 45mm installation depth, and the fixed orientation directs light straight down from the ceiling plane.

The IP65 rating makes the Zoom suitable for Zone 2 bathroom installation (outside the immediate shower or bath enclosure), kitchen ceiling positions near sinks and hobs, covered outdoor soffits, and commercial spaces where ceiling fittings need dust and moisture protection. The GU10 fitting accepts any standard GU10 LED, halogen or CFL bulb up to 50W (sold separately), giving control over beam angle, colour temperature and dimmer compatibility depending on the chosen bulb.

The black powder-coated aluminium body sits flush with the ceiling once installed, with spring clips holding the fitting securely in the ceiling void. The square aperture provides a geometric alternative to circular downlights in contemporary interiors, and the matt black finish reduces visible glare when viewed at an angle. The cast aluminium construction dissipates heat effectively, extending bulb life when paired with LED lamps.
