Description

The Zon is a universal pendant set consisting of a 15cm white aluminium ceiling rose, an adjustable fabric-covered cord running to 175cm, and a pendant holder compatible with standard E27 lamp fittings. The set provides the mounting hardware and cord infrastructure needed to suspend a separately-purchased pendant shade, bulb holder or decorative lamp over a dining table, kitchen island or side table.

Designed for use with screw-fit E27 pendant lamps, the Zon allows the cord length to be adjusted during installation to set the pendant at the required height above a worktop or table surface. The 175cm maximum drop suits rooms with ceiling heights between 2.4m and 3m, with the pendant typically hung 70-90cm above a dining table or 60-80cm above a kitchen island depending on the shade size and room proportions.

The white aluminium ceiling rose measures 15cm diameter and conceals the ceiling electrical connection point behind a low-profile metal disc that mounts flush to plasterboard or solid ceilings. The fabric cord is twin-core and rated for mains voltage, with the white finish matching the ceiling rose to create a continuous visual line from ceiling to pendant. The aluminium construction keeps the assembly lightweight at under 300g, reducing strain on the ceiling fixing.

Can the cord length be adjusted after installation?

The 175cm cord length is adjustable during installation by shortening the cord run inside the ceiling rose before fixing. Once installed and the ceiling rose cover plate is in place, further length adjustment requires removing the cover and re-threading the cord.
