Description

The Zon is a single-phase track spotlight with an integrated 12W LED running at 3000K warm white, housed in a 135mm-diameter circular head finished in matt black aluminium. The light source sits behind an opal plastic diffuser that covers the entire front face, softening the beam and distributing light evenly without visible hot spots or glare.

Designed for Unity single-phase track systems, the Zon suits retail displays, gallery walls, kitchen worktops and living room feature walls where adjustable accent lighting is needed. The head pivots and rotates on a ball joint built into the track adapter, allowing the beam to be directed at artwork, shelving, architectural detail or merchandise without moving the track itself. The 12W output provides focused task light rather than ambient room lighting, so multiple spots are typically used on a single track run to cover larger areas.

The aluminium construction keeps the fitting light enough to mount on standard track without sagging, while the matt black finish absorbs ambient light rather than reflecting it back into the room. The opal diffuser reduces the contrast between the lit area and surrounding surfaces, making the Zon suitable for spaces where people will be looking towards the light source rather than just at the lit object. The IP20 rating limits use to dry indoor environments.

Is this compatible with all track lighting systems?

No. The Zon is designed specifically for Unity single-phase track systems. It will not fit three-circuit track, Ansell track, or other manufacturer-specific systems without an adapter. Check your existing track type before ordering.

Can the LED be replaced?

The 12W LED is integrated into the fitting and is not user-replaceable. The LED is rated for approximately 25,000-30,000 hours of use, which equates to over a decade of typical residential use at 6 hours per day.

How adjustable is the head?

The head rotates 355° horizontally and tilts approximately 90° vertically on a ball joint built into the track adapter. This allows the beam to be directed at objects or surfaces from most angles without repositioning the track.

What beam angle does it provide?

The opal diffuser softens the beam into a wide flood rather than a narrow spot. Expect a beam angle of approximately 100-120°, making it suitable for lighting larger objects or wall sections rather than pinpoint accent lighting.
