Description

The Zon is a 40cm flush ceiling light with an integrated 45W LED casting 3000K warm white light through a white acrylic diffuser. The aluminium housing sits just 6cm below the ceiling, making it suitable for rooms where headroom is limited or where a recessed ceiling fitting is not possible. The LED module is non-replaceable but rated for a typical lifespan of 25,000 hours at full output.

Designed for bedrooms, hallways, landings, kitchens and living rooms with ceiling heights below 2.4m, the Zon provides general ambient lighting without the visual bulk of a pendant or semi-flush fitting. The flush-mount base fixes directly to a standard UK ceiling rose or equivalent electrical outlet, with the diffuser clipping onto the housing once wiring is complete. The IP20 rating limits use to dry indoor spaces — this is not suitable for bathrooms, wet rooms or outdoor covered areas.

The white aluminium housing reflects heat away from the ceiling void and keeps the fixture weight below 1.5kg, reducing strain on plasterboard ceilings. The circular diffuser distributes light evenly across the room, avoiding the central hotspot common in cheaper flush fittings with exposed LED arrays. The 45W output provides enough illumination for a 12-15m² room as a primary ceiling light, or can be paired with wall lights or task lighting in larger spaces.

The 3000K colour temperature sits in the warm white range, giving a slightly softer cast than the 4000K neutral white used in commercial spaces.
