The Zon is a 40cm flush ceiling light with an integrated 45W LED casting 3000K warm white light through a white acrylic diffuser. The aluminium housing sits just 6cm below the ceiling, making it suitable for rooms where headroom is limited or where a recessed ceiling fitting is not possible. The LED module is non-replaceable but rated for a typical lifespan of 25,000 hours at full output.

Designed for bedrooms, hallways, landings, kitchens and living rooms with ceiling heights below 2.4m, the Zon provides general ambient lighting without the visual bulk of a pendant or semi-flush fitting. The flush-mount base fixes directly to a standard UK ceiling rose or equivalent electrical outlet, with the diffuser clipping onto the housing once wiring is complete. The IP20 rating limits use to dry indoor spaces — this is not suitable for bathrooms, wet rooms or outdoor covered areas.

The white aluminium housing reflects heat away from the ceiling void and keeps the fixture weight below 1.5kg, reducing strain on plasterboard ceilings. The circular diffuser distributes light evenly across the room, avoiding the central hotspot common in cheaper flush fittings with exposed LED arrays. Is this suitable for low ceilings?

Yes. The 6cm projection from the ceiling makes the Zon suitable for rooms with ceiling heights below 2.4m where a pendant or semi-flush fitting would hang too low. The flush-mount design keeps the fitting close to the ceiling plane.

Can the LED be replaced?

No. The 45W LED module is integrated and non-replaceable. The LED is rated for approximately 25,000 hours at full output, which translates to around 10-15 years of typical domestic use before light output drops below 70% of the original level.

What size room does the 45W output suit?

The 45W output is sufficient as a primary ceiling light for rooms between 12-15m², such as a double bedroom, small lounge, or kitchen-diner. Larger rooms may benefit from pairing the Zon with wall lights or task lighting to avoid under-illuminating corners.

Is it dimmable?
