Description

The Zircon is a 450mm chrome wall light with a white acid-etched glass diffuser composed of three separate glass elements—two lateral panels and one frontal panel—held by chrome retaining screws. The fitting takes two E27 bulbs (sold separately) positioned behind the etched glass to cast diffused light along the wall and into the room.

Designed for hallways, bedrooms, and living room feature walls, the Zircon sits close to the wall with a 140mm projection, making it suitable for rooms with lower ceilings or where floor space is limited. The dimmable function allows light output to be adjusted from ambient to task level when paired with compatible E27 LED bulbs and a dimmer switch. The IP20 rating restricts the fitting to dry indoor locations away from direct water contact.

The etched glass finish softens the light output and hides the bulb filament or LED source from direct view, avoiding glare when the wall light is positioned at eye level in a corridor or next to a mirror. The chrome retaining screws serve both functional and visual roles, giving a mechanical accent to the otherwise smooth glass surfaces. The three-piece glass construction creates subtle shadow lines where the panels meet, adding depth to the fitting when lit.

What bulbs does the Zircon take?

The fitting takes two E27 (Edison screw) bulbs up to 60W each. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with warm-white LED bulbs between 6-10W and 2700K-3000K for ambient or hallway lighting.

Is the Zircon dimmable?

Yes. The fitting is compatible with dimmer switches when used with dimmable E27 LED bulbs. Ensure the bulbs and dimmer are matched for reliable performance.

Can it be used in bathrooms?

No. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only.

How is the glass diffuser cleaned?

Switch off the power and allow the bulbs to cool. Wipe the etched glass panels with a dry microfibre cloth. For stubborn marks, a barely-damp cloth with water is acceptable. Do not use abrasive cleaners or sprays that may damage the etched finish.
