Description

The Zip is a single pendant light built around a copper-plated metal lampholder with knurled bands at top and bottom, suspended on a 2m black fabric-covered cable. The lampholder measures 90mm in diameter and 70mm high, housing a single E27 bulb fitting (bulb sold separately). The copper plating has a satin-brushed finish that softens reflections and develops a natural patina over time.

Designed for use over kitchen islands, dining tables, breakfast bars and in hallways, the Zip works as a single pendant or in multiples spaced 600-900mm apart along a run. The 2m cable drop is adjustable during installation, allowing the pendant to be set at different heights depending on ceiling height and table position. The open bulb format means the choice of bulb determines both the light quality and the overall aesthetic — pairing with a vintage-style filament bulb emphasises the industrial character, while a frosted LED globe softens the look.

The copper finish on the metal lampholder pairs well with warm-toned interiors, exposed brickwork, reclaimed timber and darker paint colours. The black fabric cable provides visual contrast against the copper and conceals the electrical run from ceiling rose to lampholder. The IP20 rating limits the pendant to dry indoor use only. The fitting is dimmable when paired with a compatible E27 LED bulb and dimmer switch.
