Description

The Ziggy is a 2 light ceiling fitting with a dual-mount design allowing installation as either a pendant (with rods) or a semi-flush ceiling light (without rods). A white opal glass drum sits inside a geometric lattice outer shade finished in lacquered silver, housing two E27 bulbs (sold separately, each up to 60W). The outer shade features a repeating diagonal lattice pattern that casts shadow detail onto surrounding surfaces when the bulbs are lit.

The duo-mount system includes four steel rods that can be combined to set the pendant drop anywhere from 235mm (semi-flush, no rods) to 1175mm (full pendant with all rods attached). This makes the Ziggy adaptable to both low-ceiling rooms where a flush or semi-flush mount is needed, and dining rooms or kitchen islands with ceiling heights above 2.6m where a longer pendant drop works better. Yes. The Ziggy comes with four extension rods that can be removed entirely for semi-flush installation at 235mm drop, or combined in different configurations for intermediate heights up to the maximum 1175mm pendant drop.

What bulbs does it take?

The fitting takes two E27 (Edison screw) bulbs, each up to 60W. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with warm-white LED bulbs between 6-10W and 2700K-3000K for ambient dining or living room light.

What ceiling height is best for pendant installation?

For dining table or kitchen island use, ceiling heights of 2.6m or above work best with the pendant at medium drop (600-900mm). Lower ceilings suit the semi-flush configuration. The opal diffuser means the fitting works well even when viewed from below.

Is it dimmable?

Dimmer compatibility depends on the bulbs you choose. The fitting itself has no electronics that would prevent dimming, so pairing it with dimmable LED bulbs and a compatible dimmer switch will allow dimming control.
