The Zest is a 60cm diameter crystal chandelier with nine G4 bulbs arranged on curved polished chrome arms, each draped with cascading strands of 30% lead Asfour crystal droplets. The chrome arms sweep outward and upward from a central column, forming a rounded cage-like structure that holds the crystal strands in gentle swags between each arm, creating a layered curtain of light when the bulbs are lit.

Designed for dining rooms, entrance halls and living spaces with ceiling heights of 2.6m or higher, the Zest provides ambient and decorative illumination across a table or floor area approximately 3-4m in diameter. The drop is adjustable between 720mm minimum and 1680mm maximum on installation, allowing the chandelier to be raised or lowered to suit the room. The polished chrome finish reflects both the crystal droplets and the surrounding room, amplifying the light output and creating a brighter presence than matt or brushed finishes.

The 30% lead content in the Asfour crystals gives higher refractive index than standard glass, so each droplet splits and scatters more light across the room when the bulbs are lit. The nine G4 bulbs are included (Luxram branded) and draw 20W each for a combined 180W load. Yes. The chandelier ships with nine Luxram G4 bulbs rated at 20W each. These are halogen capsule bulbs and are not LED or CFL compatible in this fitting.

Is it dimmable?

No. The Zest is not compatible with dimmer switches. The intelligent switch feature mentioned in the specification allows for partial lighting control (switching groups of bulbs on or off), but this is not the same as dimming and the bulbs themselves are not dimmable.

What ceiling height is needed?

The minimum drop is 720mm, so a ceiling height of at least 2.6m is recommended to avoid the chandelier hanging too low in a standard room. The drop can be extended up to 1680mm for rooms with higher ceilings or double-height entrance halls.

How is the crystal cleaned?

Switch off the power and allow the bulbs to cool. Remove individual crystal strands and wipe each droplet with a dry microfibre cloth. For heavier dust, use a barely-damp cloth with distilled water, then dry immediately. Do not use household sprays or chemical cleaners on Asfour crystal as they can leave residue or dull the surface.
