Description

The Zerano is a single pendant light built around a solid rectangular block of light beige travertine, capped with a walnut brown wooden collar and suspended on a matching brown fabric cable. Light is emitted downward through an E27 fitting recessed into the base of the stone, producing a focused beam below the pendant rather than ambient room light. The travertine block measures 185mm tall on a 65mm square section.

Designed for contemporary interiors where directional light is wanted alongside natural material, the Zerano suits kitchen islands hung in pairs or threes, single-drop installation over a bedside table, or a row above a long dining table. The narrow 65mm footprint means several pendants can be grouped without the shades visually crowding each other. The fabric-covered cable is supplied long and is shortened on installation to set the correct drop.

Travertine is a natural sedimentary stone, and each block carries its own pattern of horizontal banding and open pores characteristic of the material. The cut is left raw rather than polished, so the surface keeps a matt texture and shows tonal variation between cream, sand and pale grey across each face. The walnut cap and cable repeat the warm tone of the stone's darker veining, and the recessed base means the bulb itself is hidden from most viewing angles.
