Description

The Zephyrus Square is a 300mm square LED wall or ceiling light with a white painted steel frame surrounding an opal plastic diffuser. An integrated LED behind the diffuser casts warm 3000K light evenly across the surface, providing ambient illumination without visible bulbs or fittings.

Designed for dual-mount flexibility, the Zephyrus fits flush to ceilings in hallways, bedrooms, bathrooms (IP20 rating limits use to zones without direct water spray) and living areas, or mounts to walls as a backlit square panel. The 300mm width suits rooms of 8-15m² where a single fitting provides sufficient ambient light, or pairs in multiples down longer corridors. The 30mm projection from wall or ceiling gives a low-profile finish that works in rooms with ceiling heights from 2.4m upward.

The white painted steel outer frame gives a clean architectural edge to the square form, while the opal diffuser softens the LED output and prevents glare when viewed from below or side-on. The 3000K colour temperature produces warm white light comparable to halogen, making it suited to residential interiors where cool daylight tones would feel too clinical. The integrated LED removes the need for bulb replacement over the fitting's lifespan.

Can it be used in bathrooms?

The IP20 rating allows installation in bathrooms provided the fitting is positioned outside zones 0, 1 and 2 — typically this means mounting it away from the shower or bath enclosure, on a wall or ceiling at least 600mm from any water source.

Is the LED replaceable?

No. The LED is integrated into the fitting and is not user-replaceable. The LED is rated for the lifespan of the product and is covered by the 5-year warranty.

What room size does it suit?

The 300mm square format provides ambient light for rooms of approximately 8-15m². For larger rooms or higher ceilings, multiple fittings can be installed or paired with additional task lighting.

Can it be mounted on the wall vertically?

Yes. The Zephyrus mounts flush to either ceiling or wall surfaces. When wall-mounted it acts as a backlit panel, providing indirect ambient light that reduces glare compared to directional spotlights.
