Description
The Zelda is a five-light chandelier built around a central column of descending brass spheres, each increasing in diameter from top to bottom. Five rectangular bowed arms extend from the sphere column in a symmetrical radial pattern, each terminating in a tapered etched glass shade held in a hemispherical brass cup. The frame is finished in vintage brass, a warm mid-tone that sits between polished brass and aged patina.
Designed for dining rooms, entrance halls and living areas with ceiling heights above 2.6m, the Zelda provides ambient light distributed across a 686mm diameter spread. The chandelier drop is adjustable on installation from a minimum of 556mm to a maximum of 2056mm using the 1500mm chain, allowing it to be set 700-900mm above a dining table or higher in double-height spaces. Each arm takes a standard E27 bulb up to 60W (bulbs sold separately), giving flexibility to choose light temperature and output.
The etched glass shades diffuse the bulb light evenly, softening glare and reducing visible hot spots. The vintage brass finish carries subtle tonal variation across the spheres and arms, giving the fitting a hand-finished appearance rather than a uniform industrial coat. The graduated sphere column functions as both the structural spine of the chandelier and its visual centrepiece, with the largest sphere positioned at the base below the arm junction. The bowed rectangular arms curve gently outward from the column before angling back towards horizontal at the shade cups, creating a mid-century profile that pairs comfortably with both period and contemporary interiors.

Frequently Asked
What bulbs does the Zelda take?
The chandelier takes five E27 (Edison screw) bulbs up to 60W each. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with warm-white LED bulbs between 6-10W and 2700K-3000K to complement the vintage brass finish.
What ceiling height is required?
The minimum drop of 556mm plus the 476mm fitting height means the chandelier requires at least 2.6m ceiling height to avoid head clearance issues. For dining tables, the chandelier typically hangs 700-900mm above the table surface, which works in rooms with 2.7m ceilings or higher.
Is the drop adjustable after installation?
The drop is adjustable on installation using the 1500mm chain, but once the ceiling rose is fixed and excess chain removed, the drop becomes fixed. Plan the desired height before final installation.
What's the difference between vintage brass and polished brass?
Vintage brass is a mid-tone finish with subtle tonal variation and a slightly matt surface, resembling brass that has aged naturally. Polished brass is brighter, more reflective and uniform in colour. Vintage brass pairs more comfortably with traditional and period interiors.
