Zelda 1 Light Mini Pendant - Polished Nickel

The Zelda is a single-pendant light built around a column of three descending polished nickel spheres that stack vertically from the ceiling canopy to the shade holder. The largest sphere sits at the top near the canopy, stepping down through a medium sphere to a small polished hemisphere that holds the etched glass shade. The shade itself is a tapered cone of frosted white glass that diffuses the light from a single E27 bulb (sold separately).

Designed for kitchen islands, breakfast bars, dining tables and hallway entries, the Zelda hangs from an adjustable rod system that allows the drop to be set between 388mm and 1288mm during installation. At its minimum drop the fitting sits close to the ceiling for lower rooms; at maximum drop it works over a kitchen island or dining table in rooms with ceiling heights of 2.7m or above. The 121mm-diameter shade keeps the footprint compact enough to use multiples in a row without crowding.

The polished nickel finish on the spheres and fittings reflects light and pairs with both warm and cool interior palettes, sitting comfortably alongside stainless steel appliances, chrome taps and brushed metal handles. The etched glass softens the bulb's direct glare and produces an even ambient wash rather than focused task light. The spheres add visual weight to the suspension without overwhelming small spaces, and the metal-to-glass transition gives the fitting a mid-century profile that works in both traditional and contemporary settings.

What bulb does the Zelda take?

The fitting takes a standard E27 (Edison screw) bulb up to 60W maximum. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with a warm-white LED between 6-10W and 2700K-3000K to match the frosted glass and polished nickel finish.

Is it dimmable?

Dimmer compatibility depends on the bulb you choose. An E27 LED bulb marked as 'dimmable' will work with most trailing-edge dimmers. Check the bulb packaging before pairing with a dimmer switch.

Can the drop height be adjusted after installation?

The drop is adjustable on installation by shortening or lengthening the rod system inside the canopy. Once installed and wired, the drop cannot be adjusted without re-accessing the canopy and rewiring.

What ceiling height is needed?

At minimum drop (388mm from ceiling to base of shade) the Zelda suits rooms with standard 2.4m ceilings. For dining tables or kitchen islands where the pendant hangs 700-800mm above the surface, ceiling heights of 2.7m or above are recommended to achieve the right clearance.
