Description

The Zavero is a 180mm alabaster table lamp built as a single spherical orb cut from natural Spanish alabaster around a solid copper internal frame. Height and diameter are matched at 180mm, giving the lamp a compact, balanced footprint that reads as a sculpted object as much as a light source. A single G9 lamp socket sits inside the orb, lighting the stone from within so the alabaster itself acts as the diffuser.

At under 200mm tall the Zavero suits surfaces where a full-height table lamp would feel oversized: a bedside table beside a low headboard, a console in a hallway, a shelf in a study, or as a paired set on a sideboard. The compact proportions also work on a desk where the lamp provides a soft accent glow rather than direct task light. The copper internal structure carries the cable discreetly out of the base.

Each orb is cut from a different section of stone, so the cream, ivory and warm mineral veining flows differently across every piece. Some areas of the sphere read as cloud-like and diffuse, while others show denser streaks that trace the curve of the form. When the G9 lamp is on, the alabaster turns translucent and the internal layering of the stone becomes visible, deepening the natural pattern. When off, the orb presents as a soft, matte stone object with quiet veining.

The lamp uses a single G9 capsule bulb (sold separately). A warm-white G9 LED between 2700K and 3000K gives the most flattering glow through the alabaster and reduces heat inside the orb compared with a halogen capsule.

No. The orb is cut from natural Spanish alabaster, so the veining, tonal variation and translucency differ between individual pieces. The cream and ivory pattern shown is representative rather than identical to the piece supplied.
