Description
The Zarelli is a 600mm alabaster chandelier built from rectangular panels of natural Spanish alabaster, fixed with brass studs around a stainless steel frame finished in soft white and brass. Twelve E14 lamps sit inside the structure, lighting the stone from within. The body measures 680mm in height with an additional 300mm drop rod, giving an overall drop of 980mm from the ceiling plate.
The composition steps through three tiers: a tall central column at the top, a wide circular band at the middle, and a smaller cluster suspended below the main ring. Each tier uses the same rectangular panel format, producing a serrated upper and lower edge across the main body. Suited to dining rooms, entrance halls, stairwells and bedrooms with ceiling heights of 2.7m or higher, the fitting balances ambient and decorative light.
Each alabaster panel is cut from solid stone and shows individual veining, tonal variation and areas of mineral density. The honed surface keeps the internal structure of the stone visible, so the chandelier reads as a series of translucent slabs rather than a uniform shade. Brass fixings at each panel echo the warm tone of the canopy and central support rod, holding the geometric arrangement together without competing with the natural markings of the alabaster.

Frequently Asked
What bulbs does the Zarelli take?
The chandelier uses twelve E14 (small Edison screw) bulbs, sold separately. Most buyers pair this fitting with warm-white LED candle bulbs between 4-6W and 2700K-3000K to bring out the natural warmth of the alabaster and brass.
What ceiling height does it need?
The body measures 680mm tall with a 300mm rod, giving an overall drop of 980mm from the ceiling plate. The fitting suits rooms with ceiling heights of 2.7m or higher. In a dining room or entrance hall, allow at least 700-800mm of clearance above a table or floor walkway.
Does the alabaster vary between pieces?
Yes. Each panel is cut from natural Spanish alabaster, so veining, tonal markings and translucency differ between individual chandeliers. This is a feature of the natural stone and means no two Zarelli fittings look identical when lit.
How is it cleaned?
Alabaster is porous and softer than marble. Wipe the panels gently with a dry, soft microfibre cloth. Avoid water, household sprays and chemical cleaners, which can stain or damage the stone. The brass canopy and fixings can be lightly dusted with the same cloth.
